عبد الرحمن بن علي الربيعة (١٣٢٧ - ١٤٠٥ هـ- ١٩٠٩ - ١٩٨٤ م) عالم، فرضي. ولد بحريملاء في السعودية في بيت دين وغنى، وحفظ القرآن على الشيخ عبد العزيز بن سوداء ولم يتجاوز العاشرة من عمره، ودرس على علماء بلدته. ومن أبرز مشايخه الشيخ محمد بن فيصل المبارك، والشيخ إبراهيم بن سليمان بن ناصر الراشد. وقد كان ذكيّا قوي الذاكرة، حفظ كثيرا من المتون والمختصرات، ومن ذلك متن الرحبية، وكتاب التوحيد، وبلوغ المرام، وغير ذلك. وكان فرضيّا يرجع إليه في القسمة والحساب. وكان مع زميله الشيخ محمد بن عبد العزيز بن مهيزع فرسي رهان في حلقة الدرس. توفي في الرياض ودفن بها يوم الأحد الخامس من المحرم (٤).
