عبد الرحمن علي الجودر (٠٠٠ - ١٤١٠ هـ- ٠٠٠ - ١٩٩٠ م) أحد الشخصيات الإسلامية البارزة. عمل في حقل الدعوة الإسلامية ردحا من الزمن، وهو من دولة البحرين. وعضو جمعية الإصلاح فيها، والعضو المؤسّس للهيئة الخيرية الإسلامية العالمية، الذي شارك في العديد من اجتماعاتها وأنشطتها. عبد الرحمن علي الجودر وقد بدأ حياته العملية إماما وخطيبا في جامع بمدينة المحرق، ثم أصبح مديرا لمدرسة، ثم عضوا في المجلس الأعلى لرابطة العالم الإسلامي. توفي يوم الأحد ٢٨ ربيع الآخر، وترك مكتبة كبيرة تضم شتى العلوم الإسلامية (٣).
