عبد الرحمن شكري الطباع (١٣٢٦ - ١٤٠٣ هـ- ١٩٠٨ - ١٩٨١ م) إداري فاضل. ولد في دمشق، تلقى علومه في مدرستي العصر الجديد والكلية العلمية الوطنية، ثم عين في دائرة أوقاف الشام سنة ١٩٣٥ م، وتدرّج في وظائفها حتى صار وزيرا لها عام ١٩٦٥ م. ترك مناصب الدولة عام ١٩٦٦ م، وحج مرارا، وأخلد إلى الهدوء والراحة حتى توفاه الله بدمشق (١).
