    سعيد حمامي (١٣٦٠ - ١٣٩٨ هـ- ١٩٤١ - ١٩٧٨ م) سياسي، أول ممثل لمنظمة التحرير الفلسطينية في بريطانيا. ولد في يافا، وتلقى دراسته الأولية في عمان بعد انتقال أسرته إليها عقب حرب عام ١٩٤٨ م، ثم التحق بجامعة دمشق لدراسة الأدب الإنجليزي، وتخرج فيها عام ١٩٦٤ م. عمل بعد تخرجه في الصحافة والتدريس، ثم التحق بحركة (فتح) وتفرغ للعمل بها. اختير عام ١٩٦٩ م عضوا في المجلس الوطني الفلسطيني، كما عملفي صفوف الثورة الفلسطينية في لبنان بعد أحداث أيلول عام ١٩٧٠ م، وعين عام ١٩٧٢ م في مكتب الجامعة العربية بلندن، وعمل ممثلا لمنظمة التحرير الفلسطينية هناك. اغتيل في مكتبة بمقر الجامعة العربية بلندن (١).
