داود بن محمد الحمصي (١٣٣١ - ١٤٠٧ هـ- ١٩١٢ - ١٩٨٦ م) صوفي، صالح، داعية. ولد في دمشق بحي القنوات، وأخذ النقشبندية من شيخه محمد أمين كفتارو، ثم تتلمذ على ابنه أحمد .. وذكرت له كرامات. داود الحمصي قام بالدعوة إلى الله في منزله، وفي دور أحبابه، وفي مسجد التعديل بحي القنوات. توفي ليلة ٢٧ شعبان، ودفن في مقبرة الباب الصغير (٣).
