الحطاب بوشناق (١٣١٤ - ١٤٠٤ هـ- ١٨٩٦ - ١٩٨٤ م) العالم الفاضل، المفتي الحنفي. من أعلام الجامعة التونسية، اختصّ في علوم العربية حتى لقب بسيبويه تونس! ملأ رحاب تونس علما وفضلا، وتخرج على يديه أجيال كانوا مفخرة الزيتونة. اشتغل «مفتي حنفي» ثم «كاهية شيخ الإسلام». وهو من مؤسسي المجلة الزيتونية، وركن من أركانها (٤).
