١٣٨٦) يوسف بن سعيد بن مسافر الأرحبي:"حاصل ما أنكروا عليه أنه ضرب على عدة طباق قرئت على بعض شيوخه من "مسند أحمد" وزعم أن ذلك السماع باطل، فظهر لهم أن السماع صحيح، وأن رده باطل، فأنكروا عليه فرجع، وكانت وفاته سنة: إحدى وستمائة". "اللسان" (٧/ ٥٣٤).
