١٠٣٢) محمد بن جرير بن يزيد الطبري أبو جعفر الإمام المفسر: " الحديث الذي أشار إليه ابن المبارك في الشمس والقمر وهو حديث طويل وآثار الوضع عليه ظاهرة، وأورده أبو جعفر الطبري في أول "تأريخه" في بدء الخلق، وأشار إلى عدم صحته، مع قلة كلامه على الحديث في ذلك الكتاب". "التهذيب" (٤/ ٢٤٨)."في الرافضة من شاركه في اسمه واسم أبيه ونسبه، وإنما يفترقان في اسم الجد، ولعل ما حكي عن محمد بن جرير الطبري من الاكتفاء في الوضوء بمسح الرجلين إنما هو هذا الرافضي فإنه مذهبهم".
