١٥١١ - يعقوب بن عبد الرحمن بن عثمان بن يعقوب شرف الدين ابن (٣) خطيب القلمة الحموى (٤) الشافعى النحوى المقرئ. كان عارفا بالقراءات، ماهرا في الفقه، والعربية، خطيبا بليغا (٥)، واعظا، إماما فاضلا، انتهت إليه رياسة العلم ببلده، وتخرّج به جماعة، وله نظم الحاوى وغيره. توفى سنة ٧٧٤ وقيل سنة ٧٧٥ (٦).
