١٥٠٧ - يوسف بن محمد بن على بن محمد بن مسعود الجعفرى نسبا أبو يعقوب. كان فقيها؛ فاضلا، عارفا، كاملا، نحويا، محدثا، لغويا. أخذ القراءات بزبيد عن يوسف المهلهل، والنحو عن إسحاق بن أفلح وكان عفيفا نزيها.درّس بالأشرفية بتعز من بلاد اليمن. توفى سنة ٧٤٦ (١).
