١٤٨٢ - يوسف بن عبد الرحمن بن يوسف بن عبد الملك بن يوسف ابن على بن أبى الزهر المزّى. الشيخ المحدّث، الحافظ، الضابط، المفيد جمال الدين أبو الحسن (١)، صاحب دار الحديث الأشرفية الدمشقية. له تصانيف مفيدة، منها: «تهذيب الكمال، فى أسماء الرجال» وأطراف الحديث (٢) فى أسفار متعددة. أخذ عن أحمد بن سلامة، وأبى الفرج: عبد الرحمن بن محمد بن أحمد ابن قدامة المقدسى، وأبى حامد بن الصابونى، وأبى عبد الله: محمد بن عبد العزيز الرجراجية، والقاسم بن أبى بكر الإربلى. أخذ عنه ابن جابر، وذكره في مشيخته ولم يذكر وفاته (٣).
