١١٥٨ - عتيق بن أحمد بن محمد بن يحيى الفراء (٢) الغسانى. من أهل وادى آش المعروف بالوادى آشى. كان له مجلس بالجامع الأعظم، من حضرة غرناطة يفسّر فيه القرآن العظيم، ويتكلم على الموطأ. وكان من أحفظ أهل زمانه، وله معرفة بالطبّ والعلاج، وشرح أرجوزة ابن سينا، ولعله لم يكمله. ولقد أجاد فيما قيد منه، وله جزء فى فضائل (٣) سور القرآن، وكتاب سماه: «ناظر العين في مختصر البرهان لإمام الحرمين». ولى القضاء بالمنكب، وبشلوبانية وببرجة، وقضاء المرية. توفى يوم الجمعة الثالث والعشرين لرجب سنة ٦٩٦ (٤).
