٧٣٧ - محمد بن أحمد بن حيان الأوسى الأنصارى أبو عبد الله. الشيخ المقرئ المحدّث الراوية الشاطبى ولد عام ٦٣٥. أخذ عن جماعة من القراء والمحدّثين، والأدباء، والفقهاء، كأبى عبد الله السوسى، وأبى محمد بن برطلة، وأبى إسحاق بن عياش، وأبى عبد الله القحطانى، وأبى الحسن: حاتم وغيرهم. وأجاز له علماء من المشرق والمغرب، ومنهم: أبو الحسين بن السراج من بجاية، ورحل إلى المشرق، وابتدأ فهرسته بأسماء شيوخه على حروف المعجم، ولم يكملها. أجاز لابن رشيد. وتوفى يوم الجمعة ضحى الحادى عشر من رجب عام ٧١٨ ودفن أثر الصلاة، بمقبرة جامع القصر داخل تونس المحروسة.
