[يوسف بن عبد الله] بن عطاء بدر الدين عالم فاضل له مشاركة تامة في العلوم تفقه على أبيه قاضى القضاة شمس الدين عبد الله الأذرعي وعلى محمود الحصيري وُلد سنة إحدى وستمائة ومات يوم الأربعاء ثالث عشر ربيع الأول سنة ست وتسعين وستمائة. (قال الجامع) اسم والد عبد الله محمد كما ذكره الكفوي في ترجمته ومر نقله عن المرآة أيضًا لإعطاء كما سماه هاهنا.
