[يعقوب بن إدريس] بن عبد الله النكدى المشتهر بقره يعقوب وُلد بنكدة من بلاد القرامان سنة تسع وثمانين وسبعمائة واشتغل ومهر في الفروع والأصول وأخذ عن محمد بن حمزة الفنارى وغيره ودخل البلاد الشامية والقاهرة فأقر علماؤها بفضله ومات في بلاده في ربيع الأول سنة ثلاث وستين وثمانمائة ومن تصانيفه شرح مصابيح السنة وحواشي الهداية. (قال الجامع) أرخ صاحب الشقائق وفاته سنة ثلاث وثلاثين وثمانمائة بمدينة لارنده وذكر أن له حواش على الهداية وشرحًا للمصابيح.
