[هبة الله] بن أحمد بن معلى بن محمود الطرازي نسبة إلى طراز بكسر المهملة مدنية بإقليم تركستان لقبه شجاع الدين قدم دمشق وتفقه على جلال الدين عمر الخبازي وصار فقيهًا أصوليًا نظارًا فارسا في البحث كانت الطلبة ترحل إليه من البلاد وصنف شرح الجامع الكبير وشرح عقيدة الطحاوي وتبصرة الأسرار شرح المنار مات سنة إحدى وسبعين وستمائة. (قال الجامع) الذي في الأنساب أن النسبة إلى طراز مدينة بإقليم تركستان الطرازي بفتح الطاء وأما الطرازي بكسر الطاء فهو نسبة إلى عمل الثياب المطرزة.
