    [نصر بن أحمد] بن العباس أبو أحمد العياضي تفقه على والده أبي نصر عن أبي بكر الجوزجاني عن أن سليمان الجوزجاني عن محمد وكان فائق أقرانه ووحيد زمان برع في المذهب ورحل إليه فقهاء البلاد في الواقعات والنوازل حتى روي عن أبي حفص البجلي حفيد أبي حفص الكبير أنه قال الدليل على صحة مذهب أبي حنيفة أن أبا أحمد العياضي كان على مذهبه ولو لم يكن مذهبًا مختارًا لم يعتقده وعن الحكيم أبي القاسم السمرقندي ما خرج من خراسان إلى ما وراء النهر منذ مائة سنة مثل الفقيه أبي أحمد العياضي علمًا وفقهًا وتدينًا.
