[المطهر بن الحسين] بن سعد بن علي بن بندار أبو سعد قاضي القضاة جمال الدين اليزدي جليل القدر كبير المحل أوحد الزمان له شرح الجامع الصغير الذي رتبه الزعفراني في مجلدين سماه التهذيب ولخص مشكل الآثار للطحاوى واختصر النوادر لأبي الليث وله الفتاوى وشرح القدورى المسمي بالباب وممن أخذ عنه ركن الدين محمد بن عبد الرشيد الكرماني صاحب جواهر الفتاوي. (قال الجامع) ذكر السيوطي في حسن المحاضرة الحسين بن أحمد بن الحسين بن سعيد بن على بن بندار الإمام أبو الفضل الهمداني اليزدي كان تحت يده في بلاده اثنا عشر مدرسة فيها من الطلبة ألف ومائتان قدم إلى قوص فمات بها سنة إحدي وتسعين وخمسمائة وحمل إلى مصر ميتاً انتهى.
