[محمود بن أحمد] بن عبيد الله بن إبراهيم تاج الشريعة المحبوبي أخذ العلم عن أبيه صدر الشريعة أحمد عن أبيه عن إمام زاده عن عماد الدين عن أبيه بكر الزرنجرى عن الحلوانى عامل فاضل تحرير كامل بحر زاخر حبر فاخر صاحب التصانيف الجليلة منها الوقاية انتخبها من الهداية صنفها لأجل حفظ ابن ابنه صدر الشريعة عبيد الله بن مسعود بن محمود والفتاوى والواقعات وشرح الهداية. (قال الجامع) هذا صريح في أن شارح الهداية هو مصنف الوقاية وقد مر ما فيه من الاختلاف عند ترجمة عبيد الله بن مسعود بن تاج الشريعة.
