[محمد بن منصور] بن مخلص أبو إسحاق النوقدي بفتح النون وسكون الواو وفتح القاف نسبته إلى نوقد قرية من قرى نسف كان إمامًا زاهدًا صائم الدهر مشتغلا بالتدريس والفتوى أخذ عن أبي جعفر الهندوانى عن أبي بكر الأعمش عن أبي بكر الاسكاف عن محمد بن سلمة عن أبي سلمان عن محمد. (قال الجامع) وصفه السمعانى بقوله الإمام الزاهد صام الدهر محمد بن منصور بن مخلص بن إسماعيل النوقدي المدرس المفتي بسمرقند روي عن القاضي محمد بن الحسين اليزدي ومات بسمرقند في رمضان سنة أربع وثلاثين وأربعمائة انتهى.
