[محمد بن علي] بن يوسف بالي بن شمس الدين محمد بن حمزة الفناري الشهير بمحيي الدين جلبي كان عالماً فاضلا مفتياً ورعاً قرأ على أبيه وعلى خطيب زاده وصار مدرساً ببروسا وغيرها ثم صار قاضياً بالعسكر المنصور بولاية اناطولي ثم بولاية روم ابلي ومات سنة أربع وخمسين وتسعمائة وله حاشية على أوائل شرح الوقاية وتعليقات على الهداية وعلى شرح المفتاح للسيد وغير ذلك.
