    [على بن أحمد] بن على بن يوسف كمال الدين المعروف بقاضي الحصن لولايته القضاء بحصن الأكراد ولد سنة ثمان وعشرين وستمائة ومات سنة اثتنين وسبعمائة. [على (٣) بن أحمد] بن محمد علاء الدين الجمالى كان فقيًا أصوليًا أديبًا لغويا نحويًا مفسرًا محدثًا متبحرًا في الفنون العقلية والنقلية مجتهدًا مطلعًا على دقائق الشرع عابدًا زاهدًا قرأ في صغره على حمزة القرامانىثم أتي قسطنطينية وقرأ على المولى خسرو محمد بن فراموز وصار مدرسًا بمدارس أدرنة وبروسا ومفتيًا في عهد السلطان محمد خان وابنه بايزيد خان وكان صاحب كرامات مات سنة اثنين وثلاثين وتسعمائة ومن تلامذته صدر الأفاضل يوسف وقطب الدين (١) المرزيفوني وغيرهما.
