    (عبد الواحد) بن محمد السيرامي كان أحد المتبحرين أصله من بلاد العجم اشتغل هناك وبلغ رتبة الكمال ثم أتى بلاد الروم وباحث العلماء وناظر الفضلاء فشهدوا له بالفضل عند السلطان فأعطاء مدرسة ببلدة كوتاهية واشتهرت بالواحدية وشرح فيها النقابة في الفقه فرغ من تصنيفه سنة ست وثمانمائة وكان شرحًا لطيفًا وتصنيفًا نفسيًا أتي فيه بمبهمات المسائل وحل معضلاتها بأوضح الدلائل وصنف كتابًا منظومًا في الاسطرلاب لأجل محمد شاه بن شمس الدين محمد الفنارى. (قال الجامع) اختلف في هذه النقابة التى شرحها عبد الواحد فقيل هي نقابة صدر الشريعة وقيل هي النقاية في علم الهداية لقاضيخان كذا في الكشف.
