(الحسن) بن فخر الإسلام على بن محمد القاضي أبو ثابت البزدوى ولد بسمرقند ولما مات أبوه حمله عمه صدر الإسلام أبو اليسر محمد بن محمد إلى بخارى وربه ولما مات ابن عمه أبو المعالي القاضى الصدر أحمد ولى القضاء ببخاري وبقى على ذلك مدة ثم انصرف إلى يزد وسكنها مدة أخذ عن عمه ومات سنة سبع وخمسين وخمسمائة وكانت ولادته سنة ست وسبعين وأربعمائة.
