(أحمد بن محمد) بن محمد بن نصر الفقيه المعروف بالأقطع تفقه على أبي الحسين أحمد القدورى وبرع في الفقه وأتقن الحساب سكن بغداد بدرب أبي يزيد ودرس الفقه وخرج من بغداد سنة ثلاثين وأربعمائة إلى الأهواز وأقام برامهرمز وشرح مختصر القدورى مات سنة أربع وسبعين وأربعمائة حكى أنه مال إلى حَدَث فظهر على الحدث سرقة فاتهم أنه شارك فيها فقطعت يده وقيل أن يده قطعت في حرب كان بين المسلمين والتتار.
