عبد الرحمن بن محمد العيس (١٣٤٠ - ١٣٩٩ هـ- ١٩٢١ - ١٩٧٩ م) قاض. ولد في شقراء بالسعودية. درس في مكة المكرمة العلوم الإسلامية، التحق بدار التوحيد في الطائف، تخرّج من كلية الشريعة بمكة. عين ملازما قضائيا في محكمة الطائف، ثم نقل قاضيا إلى بلدة ميسان، ثم محكمة مرات، ثم محكمة الدرعية، وكان في كل ذلك يؤم المسلمين ويخطب فيهم، إلى أن توفي بالرياض. وكان حليما، له معرفة بالتاريخ والأنساب، ومكتبة عامرة (٢).
