٢٩٦٤ - (ت ١٣٤٣ هـ): حسن بن محمد الحجِّي النَّجدِيُّ الحنبلي: قال في "زهر الخمائل": ولد عامَ سبعٍ وسبعينَ ومئتين وألف، وقرأ القرآنَ والتَّجويد على أخيه عَوَض بن محمد الحَجِّي، وكان مُولَعًا بالكُتُبِ، وحَفِظَ الأدبيات، والحِكَم، والوصايا، حسن القراءة جدًّا، وكان وسطًا بالفقهِ والفرائضِ والعربيةِ، وخذَم عند آل رشيد، وربَّما بعثُوه إلى المنتفق، وإلى ابن إبراهيم راع الزُّبير، وكانت له خَاتمة حسنةٌ، فقد قال عند موته: كل من عنده لي مَظْلَمةٌ فهو في حِلٍّ منها. مات سنة ثلاث وأربعين وثلاث مئة وألف بدَاءِ الفالِجِ عن سبعين سنة. انتهى.
