    ٢٩٥٦ - (ت ١٣٤٠ هـ): الشيخ عبد الله بن محمد بن عبد اللَّطيف، النَّجْدِيُّ، الحنبليُّ. ذكره الزِّركلي في "أعلامه" (¬١) نقلًا عن فرقة الإخوان الإسلامية فقال: هو من آل الشيخ محمد بن عبد الوهَّاب، فقيهٌ خطيبٌ من أهل نجد، مولِدُه ووفاتُه في بلد الرِّياض، كان مرجعَ سائر النجديين في أمور دِيْنهم، وشارك في سياسَتِهم، وحروبهم، وكان كريمًا داهيةً، تعلَّم بالمدينة ومِصْر، وتونس، وساحَ في مُراكش، وجنوب إسبانيا، والهند، والأفغان، وإيران، والعراق، وكان مع آل سُعود في هجرتهم إلى الكويت، له رسالة في "الاتباع وحظر الغُلو في الدِّين" طبع، توفي سنة أربعين وثلاث مئة وألف. انتهى.
