    ٢٩٥٥ - (ت ١٣٤٠ هـ): الشيخ عبد الله بن حمد بن عَتيق النَّجْديُّ، الحنبليُّ. ذكره الشيخُ سُلَيمان بن حمدان فيما قرأته بخطَّه النَّيِّر، فقال: قرأَ على أخيه الشيخ سَعْد، والشيخ عبد الله بن عبد اللَّطيف، والشيخ حَمَد بن فارس في النَّحْو، والشيخ محمد بن إبراهيم بن محمود في الفقه، وتولَى القضاءَ في بلد القطقط الهجرة المعروفة، وتوفي سنة أربعين وثلاث مئة وألف تقريبًا، وله من الولدِ أربعة أبناء ذكور: محمد، وعبد الرحمن، وحَمَد، وعبد العزيز. انتهى. وذكره صاحب "شذا النَّد" وأرَّخ وفاتَهُ سنةَ اثنتين وأربعين وثلاث مئة وألف، ولعله الصحيح.
