    ٢٩٣٣ - (ت ١٣٣٢ هـ): مطلق بن صالح النَّجْديُّ، الحنبليّ، المؤرِّخ. له كتاب "شَذَا النَّد في تاريخ نجد" أرَّخ فيه بعض الحوادث من سنة ثمانٍوثلاثين وسبع مئة إلى سنة اثنتين وثلاثين وثلاث مئة وألف، وزاد ابنُهُ عليه إلى سنةِ تسعٍ وخمسين وثلاث مئة وألف، وهذا الكتاب صغير، يوجد في مكتبة أرامكو بالدمَّام بالتصوير، وتوفي المصنِّفُ سنةَ اثنتين وثلاثين وثلاث مئة وألف. ذكر ذلك الزِّركلي في "أعلامه".
