٢٨٩٨ - (ت ١٣١٧ هـ): محمود أفندي بنُ عبدِ القادر بنِ محمدٍ بنِ صالحٍ بنِ محمد أمين بنِ خضر بنِ معروف بن عبد الله الشطي الحنبلي، ستأتي ترجمةُ والده قريبًا، وأما المترجَمُ: فذكره ابنُ الشطي في "مختصره" (¬٢) وقال: كان كوالده حالًا وقالا، وفيه تودُّدٌ، وحسنُ عشرة، وكان نائب التركية بمحكمة الباب، ثم بالسنانية، وتوفي بمرضٍ طويلٍ سنةَ سبعَ عشرة وثلاث مئة وألف، عن نحو خمس وأربعين سَنَة. انتهى.
