    ٢٨٥٥ - (ت ١٢٨٢ هـ): عبد الرَّحمن بن غَنَّام بن محمد، النَّجْديُّ الدِّمَشْقِيُّ الحَنبليُّ، ابنُ الشَّيخ غَنَّام المُتَقَدِّم. ذكره صاحب "السُّحُب" (¬١) وقال: كان فاضلًا، طَلبَ العِلْم مع الصَّلاح والخَيْر، والسُّكُون وحُسْن المُعَاشَرة، والمُلازمة بالكُلِّيَّة على الجَمَاعة بالجَامِع الأُمَويِّ بالصَّفِّ الأوَّل والإمَامِ الأوَّل، وسَماحةِ النَّفْسِ في إعارة الكُتُب. تُوُفِّي ﵀ بدِمَشْق، سنَةَ اثنتين وثمانين ومئتين وأَلْف، انتهى.
