٢٧٩٤ - (ت ١٢٣٤ هـ): عليٌّ بنُ عبدِ الله بنِ الشَّيخ النَّجدي، الحنبلي. قال الفاخري: قُتِلَ سَنَةَ أربعٍ وثلاثين ومئتين وألف بعد ما وصل من المدينة المنورة لأمرٍ نقموه عليه أو تخيلوه فيه، وقُتِلَ مَعه عدَّةُ رجال ﵀. وكذا ذكره ابنُ بشر (¬٢) فقال: وفي سنة أربع وثلاثين ومئتين وألف قُتِلَ عليٌّ بن عبد الله بن الشَّيخ محمد بن عبد الوَهَّاب، قتله التركُ قربَ الدِّرْعِيَّة، وكان له معرفةٌ في الحديث والتفسير وغير ذلك.
