٢٧٧٠ - (ت ١٢٢٣ هـ): الشَّيخ محمد بن سُلطان العَوْسَجي، الحنبلي، القاضي. ذكره ابن بِشْر في "تاريخ نجد" (¬٢)، وقال: كان عالمًا فاضلًا محقِّقًا، طلبَ العلمَ وحصَّل، واستفاد وأفادَ، ووليَ القضاءَ بالأَحْساء، وتوفي بعد عيد النَّحر سنةَ ثلاثٍ وعشرين ومئتين وألف، وكان قاضي الأَحْساء. انتهى.
