    ٢٧٢٩ - (ت ١١٩٢ هـ): حِجِّي - بِكَسْر الحَاء فجيم مُشَدَّدة - بن مَزْيَد بن حُمَيْدان - بضَمِّ الحَاء وفَتْح المِيم - الفارسي الحَنْبليُّ. ذكره صاحبُ "السُّحُب الوَابِلة" (¬٥) وقال: قال الشَّيخ محمد بن فيرُوز: قَدِمَ عَلَيْنا من فَارِس، فقرأ على الوَالِد كثيرًا، ثمَّ اشتَغَل على الفَقِيْرِ، فكان فقيهًا فَرَضِيًّا عَرَبيًّا، ولمَّا سَكَن أهل الزُّبَارَة من قَطَر فيها طَلَبُوا منَّي أنْ يكون لهمْ إمامًاوخَطِيْبًا ومُعَلِّمًا فأذِنْتُ له في ذلك، وكان لهم كذلك، إلى أنَّ تُوُفِّي فيها سَنَةَ اثنتَيْن وتسعين ومئةٍ وأَلْفٍ. انتهى.
