    ٢٥٩٩ - (ت ٩٨٣ هـ): محمدٌ بنُ حسين بنِ سليمانَ أبو الصَّفَا الشهير بالأُسْطُوَاني، الحنبلي، الدَّمَشْقي. ذكره ابنُ الشَّطي في "مختصره" (¬١) وقال: هو الفاضلُ الهُمَامُ، إمام محرابِ الحنابلةِ بالجامعِ الشَّريف الأُمَوي، وتقدمت ترجمةُ أبيه البَدْر. ترجَمَهُ الغَزِّيُّ في "كواكبه" فقال: أخبرني عنه ابنُ أخيه الشيخُ محمدٌ أنَّه ماتَ يومَ الأحد تاسعَ عشر جمادى سنة اثنتين وثمانين وتسع مئة، ودُفِنَ بمقبرة مرج الدَّحْدَاح. انتهى.
