    ٢٥٤٠ - (ت ٩١٩ هـ): برهانُ الدين إبراهيمُ بن عثمانَ بنِ محمد بنِ عثمانَ بنِ موسى بن يحيى المَرْدَاوي الدَّمَشْقي، الحَنْبَلي، الصَّالحي، المعروف بجابي ابن عبادة. ذكره ابن العماد (¬١) وقال: ولد في رمضان سَنَة سبعٍ وأربعين وثمان مئة، وسمع على البرهان بن الباعوني، والنظام بن مفلح، والشهاب بن زيد وكان من الأفاضل توفي يومَ الخميس مستهل رجب سنةَ تسعَ عشرة وتسع مئة. انتهى.
