٢٥٠٦ - (ت ٩٠٣ هـ): عبد الرحمن بن أحمد الهاشمي، الحموي، الدِّمشقي، السيد موفق الدين، الحنبلي. ذكره ابن طُولون في "سكردان الأخبار" وقال: ولي نظر الجيش وعدةَ وظائف. قال شيخنا ابن المِبْرَد: هو أحد الرؤساء الأعيان، ومن ذوي البيوت، وقد اشتغل وحصَّل، وعنده مشاركةٌ جيدة، وأدب زائد، وتودُّد كثير، أخذ عن جماعةٍ من الدِّمشقيين، منهم الشيخ علي بن عروة، وأكَثَرَ عن المصريين، توفيفي عاشر رمضان، سنةَ ثلاثٍ وتسع مئة. انتهى المراد من ترجمته الحافلة.
