٢٥٠٣ - (ت ٩٠١ هـ): إسماعيل بن عبد الله الصَّالحي الحنبلي، الشيخ الصالح، المولَّه. ذكره ابن العماد (¬٣) وقال: جفَّ دماغُه بسبب كثرة التَّلاوة للقرآن في مدرسة الشيخ أبي عمر، فزال عَقْلُه، وقيل: عَشِق فعفَّ، وكان في جَذْبه كثيرَ التلاوةِ، ويتكلَّم بكلماتٍ حسنةٍ، وللناس فيه اعتقادٌ زائد، وكان يُلازمُ الجامعَ الجديد،وجامع الأفرم بالصَّالحية، توفي تاسع عشري رمضان سنة إِحدى وتسع مئة، وله شعر. انتهى المراد من ترجمةٍ حافلة.
