    ٢٤٢٥ - أحمد بن بَلْبَان بن عبد الله، شهاب الدين، أبو العَبَّاس المقرئ، اللؤلؤي، الدمشقي، الحنبلي. ذكره السخاوي في "الضوء" (¬٤) وقال: وصَفَهُ البرهانُ الحلبيُّ بالمحدث المقرئ، وأنَّه يحفظُ القرآن، ويستحضر كتابه في مذهب أحمد، وأنَّه قرأ الحديث بصوتٍ حسنٍ، وأنَّهُ قَدِمَ عليه في سنة تسعٍ وثلاثين وثمان مئة، فقرأ عليه "ابن ماجه". انتهى.
