    ٢٤١٢ - (ت ٩٠٠ هـ): قاضِي القُضاةِ، عَلاءُ الدَّين، أبو الحَسَن، عليُّ بن شَمسِ الدَّين محمَّد بن العَطَّار، الشَّيبي، الحَمَويُّ، الحَنبليُّ، المشهورُ بابنِ إدريس. ذكره ابنُ العِماد (¬١)، وقال: كانَ إمامًا علَّامةً، له سَندٌ عالٍ في الحَديثِ، ونابَ في القَضاءِ بحماةَ مُدَّة، ثمَّ وَلِيَ قضاءَ طَرابُلُسَ نَيَّفًا وعِشرينَ سَنةً. وكَانَتْ له معرفةٌ بطُرقِ الأحكام، ومُصطلح الزَّمان. وتوفَّي بطرابُلُسَ، سَنةَ تسعِ مئة، وقد جاوزَ الثَّمانينَ. انتهى.
