    ٢٣٨٨ - (ت ٨٩٤ هـ): عُثمانُ بنُ فضِل الله بنِ نَصرِ الله، فخرُ الدَّين بنُ زَين الدَّين، البَغدادِيُّ، الحَنبلي، شيخُ الخَرُّوبيَّة بالجِيْزَة. ذكره السَّخاوي في "الضَّوء" (¬٣)، وقال: ولدَ في صَفَر، سنةَ ثلاثَ عشرةَ وثمانِ مئة. وأجازَ لهُ جَماعةٌ، واستقرَّ في المَشْيَخَة بعدَ أبيه، وسمعَ بها على ابنِ ناظِر الصَّاحِبَة، والعَلاءِ بن بَرْدِس، وابنِ الطَّحَّان. ولم تَزَلْ المَشيخَةُ معه إلى أن رغبَ عنها بأَخَرة شركة بينَ ابن طَه وغَيرِه. واسْتَناباهُ فِيها، وجَلَسَ شاهِدًا بحَانُوتِ الحَلْوَانِيَّينَ، وسيرَتُه غيرُ مَرضيَّة، وأُصوله سَاداتٌ أئمَّة. ماتَ سَنةَ أربعٍوتِسعينَ وثمانِ مئة. انتهى.
