    ٢٣٣٢ - (ت ٨٨٠ هـ): عثمان بن حُسَين، الجَزِيْريُّ ثم القَاهِريُّ الحنبليُّ المُؤَذَّنُ بالبِيْبَرسِيَّة، الخَيَّاط على بابها. ذكره السَّخاويُّ في "الضَّوء" (¬٤) وقال: كان خيَّرًا، محبًّا في العِلْم وأهْله، متودَّدًا مُقْبِلًا على شَأنه، سَمِع عليَّ في "مسلم" مجالس، ومات قُرْب سنة ثمانين وثمان مئة، وأظُنُّه جاز الستَّين بَعْدَ أنْ أُقْعِدَ بالفَالج مُرَّةً. انتهى.
