    ٢٣٢٦ - (ت ٨٧٩ هـ): أحمد بن محمد شهاب الدَّين، البَهْنَسِيُّ الأصْل القَاهِرِيُّ الحنبليُّ.ذكره السَّخَاويُّ في "الضَّوء" (¬١) وقال: ولد سنةَ اثنتين وثلاثين وثمان مئة، وحفظ القرآن، و"الوَجِيْز"، واستمرَّ على حِفْظه، وحُضورِ دُرُوْس قاضيهم العِزَّ الكِنَانِيَّ، واسْتَنَابه في القَضَاء قُبَيْل موته. ومات فَجْأَةً في سنةِ تسعٍ وسبعين وثمان مئة. انتهى.
