    ٢٣٠٨ - (ت ٨٧٣ هـ): أحمد بن حسن بن داود بن سالم بن مَعَالي، شَهابُ الدِّين العَبَّاسِي الحَمَويُّ الحنبلي. ذكره السَّخَاويُّ في "الضَّوء" (¬١) وقال: ولد سنةَ خمسٍ وتسعين وسبع مئة بحَمَاة، ونشأ بها، فحفظ القرآن و"المُحَرَّر" في الفُرُوع، و"الطُّوْفي" في الأصول وغيرها، وسَمِع الكثير من مشايخ عصره، ووَلِيَ قضاء بَلَده، ومات سنةَ ثلاثٍ وسبعين وثمان مئة. انتهى. قلت: ولْينظرْ هَلْ هُوَ المتقدِّمُ سنْةَ تسعٍ وستِّين وثمان مئة أم غيره.
