    ٢٢٩٧ - (ت ٨٧١ هـ): أحمد بن محمد بن أحمد بن محمد بن أحمد، شهابُ الدِّين العَرُوْفِيُّ الدمشقيُّ الصَالِحيُّ الحنبلي. ذكره السَّخَاويُّ (¬١) في "الضوء" وقال: ولد في جُمادى الأولى، سنة سبعٍ وثمان مئة بالصَّالحيَّة، ونشأ بها، فحَفِظَ القرآن و"العمدة"، وحَضَر فِيها عند التَقيِّ بن قُنْدسُ، وسَمِع على عبد الرَّحمن بن خليل الحَرَسْتَانيِّ، وكان قد باشر النَّقابة، وتَعَاطى الشُّرُوط، فَحُمِدتْ سِيرَتُه، وحَجَّ غير مرَّةٍ، وأمَّ بالصَّالحيَّة، ونِعْمَ الرَّجلُ كان، مات بعد السَّبعين وثمان مئة. انتهى.
