    ٢٢٨٩ - (ت ٨٦٩ هـ): محمد بن عبد الله بن نَجْم الصَّفِي، أبو عبد الله الدِّمشقي الصَّالِحِي الحنبليُّ، المعروف بابن الصَّفِي، بالتخفيف. ذكره السَّخَاويُّ في "الضَّوء" (¬٢) وقال: ولد سنة سبع وتسعين وسبع مئة ببَيْتِ لَهْيَا من دِمَشْق فقرأ القرآن، و"الخِرَقِيِّ" وتفقَّه بأبي شَعَر وغيره، وسَمِع على عائشة ابنة عبد الهَادي، والطُّوبَاسيِّ وغيرهما، وحَجَّ، وكان عالمًا ورعًا، عفِيْفًا زاهِدًا قُدْوةً، ومات في سادس عشر رمضان، سنة تسعٍ وستِّين وثمان مئة، ودفن بالرَّوضة بسَفْح قاسِيُون. انتهى.
