    ٢٢٥٦ - (ت ٨٦٠ هـ): عبد الغني بن الحَسَن بن محمد بن عبد القادر بن الحَافظ شرف الدِّين أبي الحُسين، اليُونينيُّ البَعْلي الحَنْبليُّ. ولد سنة ثلاث وثمانين وسبع مئة بَبَعْلَبَكَّ، ونشأ بها، فقرأ القرآن، و"المُقْنِع"، و"المُلْحة"، وغيرهما عند القطب اليُونِيْنِيِّ، وبه تفقَّه، وسَمِع على محمد بن علي بن أحمد اليُونِيْنيِّ سنة تسعين وسبع مئة، وعلى غيره، وحدَّث، سمع منه الفُضَلاء، وكان خيِّرًا ساكنًا، وقورًا مهيبًا بهيًّا، من بيت علم ورئاسة، باشر في بلده تدريس بعض مدارسها وإمامتها، ومات قريبًا من سنة ستين وثمان مئة، قاله السَّخَاوي في "الضَّوء" (¬٣).
