٢٢٤٨ - (ت ٨٥٩ هـ): محمد بن علي بن عبد الرحمن بن عبد الله بن غازي، البَعْليُّ الحنبليُّ، المعروف بابن الجَوْف.ذكره السَّخاوي في "الضوء" (¬١) وقال: ولد سنة خمسٍ وسبعين وسبع مئة، وسمع من عبد الرحمن بن الزغْبُوب، والشمس ابن اليونانية، والعماد بن بَرْدِس، والعماد ابن يعقوب، والأمين ابن المحبِّ، وحدَّث، أخذ عنه النَّجم بن فهد وغيره. انتهى. وذكره ابن فهد في "معجمه" وقال: مات قبل الستين وثمان مئة.
