    ٢١٨٣ - (ت ٨٤٣ هـ): محمد بن محمد بن يوسف بن علي الدمشقي الحنبلي المعروف بابن الكَيَّال. ذكره السَّخاوي في "الضَّوء" (¬١) فقال: إنه يعرف أيضًا بابن الذَّهبي، ولد سنة أربعٍ وستين وسبع مئة، وسمع على ابن أبي أُمَيْلة، وعبد الرحيم بن غنائم التَّدمري، والمحب الصَّامت في آخرين، وحدَّث، سمع منه الفضلاء، وكان ينزل بالقُبَيْبَات ومعه أذان الجامع الأموي. مات سنة ثلاثٍ وأربعين وثمان مئة، أرخه ابن اللَّبُّودي. انتهى.
